Mitcham Audio System Upgrade

Upgrade to Existing Audio System

Location: Mitcham, Melbourne, Victoria

The existing audio system was not user friendly and so did not meet the requirements of the club venue. To prevent this, PC Audio Visual installed an easy turnkey solution that will make it simple for all staff or members to use.

In detail, we installed the Yamaha MA2120 power amplifier with 6 x mic/line inputs, 2 x stereo inputs. Digital Signal Processor (DSP) functions including a Feedback Suppressor as well as a Yamaha DCP4V4S 4 Volume and a 4 Switch equipped Wall Mount Control Panel. This allows the operator to remotely control the volume of up to 4 different audio inputs into the system.

With any installation, we make it essential to keep in mind the individuals using the system.

Cable Management South Yarra

South Yarra Cable Management

Location: South Yarra, Melbourne, Victoria

An issue with the internet connection was present along with the AV cabling, presenting a possible tripping hazard. Having the internet, laptop, and main power connection for both the in-house and external (guest) laptops, this can lead to the user interface becoming messy and especially confusing.

To solve this, PC Audio Visual installed mounting brackets for the components and nylon cable sleeves to ultimately have effective cable management. As a result, this can reduce the confusion as well as a possible tripping hazard.

1. Wire Management That Doesn’t Fit Desk.

Video Conference System Installation in Somerton

All in One Video Conference System

To deal with connection issues with clients via a video link, an All in One Cisco Conference system was installed with audio reinforcement. To have the ideal boardroom setup, additional installations were included such as boardroom table microphones, integrated audio system and Clickshare wireless connection to the system.

This is perfect for the boardroom as there are 2 broadside beamforming, omnidirectional microphones that come with noise and echo cancellation. Further, there is the installation of the 2 x 65″ screens.

You can talk, meet, share ideas and feedback, in real-time, virtually with anyone, almost anywhere. It provides communication flexibility for the workforce.

Video Conference System

Video Conference Solution

Connection with clients via a video link seemed to be the problem and so to solve this, PC Audio Visual installed a Logitech Video Conferencing system. This included ceiling microphones, an 85″ screen on a wall mount bracket. Additionally, there was the added option to incorporate the wireless universal mirroring connection to the system. All these are ideal for a meeting room.

The reception screen was experiencing problems with the wireless connection so PC Audio Visual installed a Sony 65″ 24/7 Screen with an Air Server Wireless Universal Mirroring Receiver.

The latter was installed to provide maximum flexibility for the office staff to post new messages to the reception screen via any of their PC screens.

Users can now use their own devices such as an iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, Nexus, Pixel, Chromebook, or a Windows 10 PC to wirelessly mirror their display over to the big screen to instantly update the notice broad.

With the existing projector being outdated and thus leading to poor image quality, the new Epson EB-G7500UNL Projector was installed along with an ELPLM08 middle throw lens.

As with all electronic components’ projectors, they have a set life span depending on the use and environment, they are operating in. If used in a standard application, you would expect the projector to last between 3-6 years if serviced annually.

We demonstrated to the client the importance of the throw distance which is the distance between the projector and screen. Additionally, showing the replacement units’ inputs should always match the existing unit.

Large Screen Projection and Audio Installation

The client required PC Audio Visual to assist in projecting an image on a larger scale. To do this, the Epson EP-700U ultra-short-throw projector was installed with screen and audio.
The use of an ultra-short-throw projector with a side tension screen provided both large screen projection with minimum impact on the space. Along with the addition of speakers that assists with the video or presentation being projected.
To achieve the best image result when using an ultrashort throw projector, it is important to use a screen surface that is completely flat.

For wireless connection to the projector, there is also the Epson iProjection app.

The app is easy to use and navigate with intuitive menu options that help bring iOS, Android, and Chromebook content to the big screen.
